Uno is the quick-fire colour-matching game. Match the card on top by colour or number, use action cards to trip up your opponents, and race to empty your hand first.
What makes Uno different
Uno is fast, social and more tactical than it looks. Action cards hit hardest when an opponent is one card from going out, so it pays to sit on one rather than firing it off the moment you can.
Keep an eye on the colours others keep dodging. If someone keeps drawing on blue, flipping the colour to blue with a wild card can stop them cold.
How to play Uno
- Every player starts out with a hand of cards.
- Play a card matching the top card by colour or by number.
- Action cards skip a turn, reverse the order, or force the next player to draw.
- Call Uno on your last card; first one out wins.
Tips before you play
Save a wild card for the dying moments of a round — it can rescue you when nothing else in your hand will go.
